Twenty three years spent looking down on the world from an airplane has provided artist Kevin Ward with amazing reference material. His trademark canvases are large and intensely colourful.
Using iridescent inks, the viewer is offered a birds eye view of corals, coastlines and river systems. His palette is limited to cool greens and blues, and his work is expressive and abstract.
One can almost imagine they are flying over the vast arid landscapes and rich coastlines of Australia.
